Homemade Praline Sauce Recipe - 1

Okay, so my handmade gifts list just wouldn’t be the same without this Praline Sauce . Oh my goodness gracious! It is one of those things that you’ll want to keep on hand for any celebration you can think of for the future.

Sweet and buttery, this my praline sauce is a bit darker than my Southern Pralines recipe. It is made a bit differently so that it doesn’t have to be refrigerated; therefore, it keeps well in someone’s pantry or cupboard and makes a wonderful gift during the holidays.

Gifting Ideas

If you are wondering what in the world someone would use Praline Sauce on, I have your answer. Just about anything you can think of!

It makes a delicious topping on everything from ice cream to cakes and stands in so well for waffles or pancakes that your family may request it instead of their regular syrup!

Speaking of which, I think it would be wonderful in a gift basket with the Buttermilk Waffle and Pancake Mix that I shared with you yesterday! They would be all set for a fun, scrumptious and amazing breakfast where you did all the work for them!

But don’t think that’s it. I have a little something, something for tomorrow that you’ll definitely want to stash a jar of this praline sauce aside for yourself to drizzle all over.

Here’s a little hint.

Praline Sauce Printable

I made a printable that you can easily download and print onto the same labels we used the other day for the Lemon Sugar Scrub . {See, I am trying to keep things as easy as possible for ya!} Anywho, if you’d prefer not to worry with the labels, just print onto a thick paper or cardstock, trim around the outer edge, and use!

They fit perfectly on top of small-mouth jar lids, but you could just as easily use a hole punch and pretty ribbon and tie one around the neck of the gift bottle. Then, on the back you can write who the gift is to, from, and even include some ideas on how to use or the date made.

Here’s the printable for you to download and use.

Robyn Stone

Updated Mar 20, 2020

This delicious Buttermilk Waffle and Pancake Mix is an easy, make ahead pantry staple! A hot stack of pancakes or waffles is quick to make and my printable recipe label makes this homemade mix perfect to share!

Waffle and Pancake Mix from addapinch.com - 5

Waffles and pancakes are pretty frequent visitors to our breakfast table. They are always welcome and always disappear in a flash! Since my family loves them so much, I like to keep some of this Buttermilk Waffle and Pancake Mix made ahead and in my pantry. This easy mix makes the most scrumptious, light and fluffy waffles and pancakes. And you can enjoy a hot stack with butter and syrup in just minutes using this!

I’ve also included a helpful (and pretty!) printable recipe label so that you can label your jars of mix for the pantry. This also makes this homemade breakfast staple absolutely perfect to share with a neighbor as a thoughtful handmade gift!

I think once you try this, you’ll definitely want to keep a few batches on hand for busy mornings!

Buttermilk Waffle and  Pancake Mix

I don’t know if you feel the same, but I find a hot stack of waffles or pancakes with butter and syrup absolutely comforting and delicious! Throw in some crispy bacon or some scrambled eggs and I’m even happier. But sometimes life is just busy! That’s just one of the reasons I almost always have this waffle and pancake mix made ahead in jars waiting for me in my pantry.

A Great Gift to Share

I know if I find having this mix on hand helpful, that there are so many others that will too. That’s why I think it makes such a thoughtful and practical gift for so many people in your life. Teachers, neighbors, friends, elderly family members or neighbors and new parents will all appreciate this! This delicious mix just makes breakfast so simple and I’ve not met many people who don’t love a delicious pancake or a waffle!

A jar of this waffle and pancake mix would be just perfect right by itself, but you could also include in a gift basket a few kitchen tools that go along with pancakes and waffles or even a bottle of maple syrup. I know if I received a gift like that, I’d absolutely love it!

Printable Cards for Labels

I created a printable that you can download and print onto card stock or a heavier weight paper. Each sheet contains two labels, so you’ll want to carefully trim each to then wrap around a quart Mason jar. The ends do not meet all the way, but that way the recipient will be able to see just how much they have left in their jar before asking for more!

Each side of the band gives easy to read and follow instruction on how to use the mix for making waffles or pancakes.

You might also want to whip up a batch of my Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix + Printable too so that you can enjoy that later as well!

Lemon Sugar Scrub makes a beautiful gift throughout the year. Learn how to make homemade sugar scurb with these easy instructions.

Homemade Praline Sauce Recipe - 8

This Lemon Sugar Scrub has really become my favorite. It has a bright, citrus scent that leaves just a faint hint of lemon after using it, making it perfect for women, men, teens, or anyone really.

It works great as a hand scrub in the kitchen as well as a body scrub in the bath.

Homemade Praline Sauce Recipe - 9

Since it isn’t full of heavy, sweet-smelling oils – just all-natural citrus – this lemon sugar scrub is perfect any time of the year.

I think that may be one reason I love it so much!

Homemade Praline Sauce Recipe - 10

The “recipe” for my Lemon Sugar Scrub yields one half-pint jar. The recipe is easily doubled or more in order to make larger batches of for gifting friends, teachers, or family.

Fairly quickly, you can gather and mix up the ingredients and have plenty of gifts to give.

Just be sure to make one for yourself, too! You’ll be so glad you did!

Gifting Ideas

While this Lemon Sugar Scrub makes a beautiful present anyone would love to receive, you can also add it to a basket filled with fun pampering essentials like a few new nail polishes in the season’s best colors as well as a few classics for ladies and tweens.

For men, you could wrap it along with a pair of gloves to protect their hands during the winter months.

And if you plan on giving this scrub during the summer, how cute would it be wrapped with a few magazines and a beach towel in preparation for a trip to the beach, pool, or lake!?!

See, I told you this was a versatile gift!

I’ve also created a printable that you can download, print and place on the lid of each half-pint jar to show what’s inside.

I’ve developed them to be easily printed on Avery round labels, product number 22830.

Of course, you can just print them on any type of paper you prefer and then adhere them with double-stick tape as well.
